Walter Johnson Records 100th Shutout

May 2, 1923.  Walter "The Big Train" Johnson blanks the New York Yankees 3-0 at Griffith Stadium. It is Johnson's 100th shutout in his career. When his career ends he has tossed 110 shutouts a major league record. Big Train spends all 21 seasons of his career with the Washington Senators. After his career as a pitcher "The Big Train" would manage the Washington Senators and Cleveland Indians.
