Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports that Yu Darvish has worked his way up to throwing fifty pitches in his last bullpen session. The news is encouraging for the Rangers as Darvish is an important part of the Rangers chance win the American League pennant. He has continued to progress in his rehab from Tommy John surgery. In his three seasons in the Major Leagues Darvish has been a dominate starter. His won-loss record is 39-25 with an ERA of 3.27. He allows 8.3 hits, 3.1 walks, and fans 11.3 batters per nine innings of work. He is expected back in late May or early June.
