David Price Wins Red Sox Debut

The Boston Red Sox are hope their investment in David Price pays off, and in game one of the season Price was pitched a very solid six innings. He surrendered to two earned runs, while walking two, five hits, and fanned ten Cleveland Indians as the Red Sox ruined the Indians home opener 6-2.

The Red Sox rocked Indians ace Corey Kluber in 5.1 innings, he was touched for nine hits, allowing two walks, and five strike outs with four earned runs scoring. The Indians started the season much like they did last season in having trouble scoring runs. Fortunately for the Tribe, they don't have to face David Price on a daily basis.

The Red Sox Big Papi hit a two-run blast in the ninth inning to put the icing on the cake in this one for the Sox in his final opening day. Mookie Betts was two for five with a home run and two RBI. Rookie Travis Shaw went two for five, but fanned three times in the game.
