Andrew Miller took a comebacker off his right wrist in an exhibition game against the Braves. He has a chip fracture in his right wrist, and will seek an opinion on hand specialist as to the treatment he will undergo according to Jack Curry of YES. The Yankees will not have the services Aroldis Chapman, who is serving a 30-game suspension. The Yankees still have Dellin Betances if Miller has to spend anytime on the disabled list. Betances is an outstanding reliever in his own right, and would move into the closers role.

The injury would have been more problematic if it had happened to his pitching hand. The Yankees will know more once Miller has a treatment plan from a hand specialist, and could start the year on the disabled list.
