Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports's Ken Gurnick has reported that the Dodgers will lose left-hander Brett Anderson or 3 to 5 months. Anderson is scheduled to undergo back surgery for a bulging disk. The bulging disk another in a long line of injuries for the left-hander.  In 2014, he had a similar surgery.

The Dodgers have experienced setbacks with Hyun-jin Ryu's rehab of his shoulder, and isn't expected back until sometime in May, if not later. Rookie prospect Frankie Montas acquired from the White Sox is out with rib issues, and is expected to miss significant time as well. Brandon McCarthy will be out until mid-summer.

The Dodgers are well stocked with possibilities for the rotation including Alex Wood, Mike Bolsinger, Carlos Frias, Jose Deleon just to name a few options. The Dodgers well stocked, but injuries are starting to cut into their depth early in Spring Training.
